WHAT WEALTH LEADERSHIP IS
Wealth leadership starts when your net worth is rapidly rising or has taken a quantum leap.
It covers the entire range of what it takes to hold and direct significant wealth without losing yourself in the process:
-
your sense of who you are now that wealth has changed the landscape
-
the relationships that have shifted around it
-
the financial knowledge required to make confident decisions at this level
-
whether the people advising you are actually working as a team or each managing their own corner.
Those four areas of your life — Identity, Relationships, Financial Fluency, Advisor team — don't operate independently.
When one area is out of alignment, the other areas will be too.
The Wealth Leadership Group works across all four, sequentially and together, to maintain balance and consistency as you move towards your goals.
Identity
Wealth changes who people are expected to be — to their families, their communities, and themselves. This work helps you get clear on who you are now, what you want your wealth to reflect, and how to make decisions from that position without second-guessing everything.
Relationships
Money changes the balance in almost every relationship it touches. This work looks honestly at how yours are functioning — and what it takes to keep them solid as wealth grows.
Financial Fluency
Confidence at this level comes from understanding how money moves, what your options actually are, and what questions to ask the people advising you.
This work builds that fluency so you're leading your wealth rather than deferring to everyone around you.
Advisor Team
Most wealth holders at this level have multiple advisors who rarely talk to each other. This work looks at whether your team is built for where you are now, and how to bring them into alignment around your vision.
ABOUT STEFFI BAKER
I grew up in Milwaukee, WI. I'm a dual US/UK citizen and I hold an MBA from Edinburgh Business School (part of Heriot-Watt University), where I am a DBA candidate. My doctoral research focuses on leadership and wealth across all areas of life: Identity, Relationships, Financial Fluency and Advisor Team.
I founded the Wealth Leadership Group after more than 15 years working inside the global family office and wealth management world, developing first-hand knowledge of what significant wealth demands of the people who hold it, and what the existing advisory world is and isn't built to address.
I'm the author of The Field Guide to Wealth: Building, Holding and Leading Wealth Without Losing Yourself, and Wealth: Off The Record is a forthcoming podcast for people who want the unfiltered version of what happens at this level — the conversations that don't happen in advisor meetings.
Outside of this work I'm a competitive figure skater, and I volunteer with animal rescues and military veterans. I split my time between Utah and Hawaii.
